I opened Wag-N-Ride to give pet parents peace of mind when finding pet care for their loved ones. I operate on trust, honesty and integrity. I have 10+ years of experience in pet care, pet behavior and pet health. I worked in a vet clinic for 6 years and owned an in-home boarding business for 3 years. I specialize in dogs, but have taken care of cats, reptiles, fish and horses. I provide top notch care to Crestline, Mountain Brook, Homewood and Vestavia.

Assistant Manager/Pet Care Professional

I’ve loved all animals since I was a kid, but dogs are my passion. I took an interest in dog training after I watched several dogs get rehomed due to poor behavior. I’ve had my dog for 5 years and I trained him with basic commands. After a death of a friend in 2021, I took him through service dog training, and he is now a certified service dog. I met Anna at the vet clinic, and we worked together for about a year. I have experience and knowledge in pet care, health and behavior. I am so excited to be a part of the Wag-N-Ride team and I am looking forward to helping out with daily walks, pet sitting, and pet taxi! Brooklyn is extremely detailed oriented and creative. She is good with client communication, helping organize TTP portals, and gives awesome updates. We have loved having her!

Pet Care Professional

Ashlyn is attending UAB to get a bachelors in Kinesiology, to then become a physical therapist. In the meantime, she has loved being able to walk dogs for Wag-N-Ride, and play with all the kitty cats. She has two cats of her own, and a family dog. She has pet sat for friends and family. Ashlyn has enjoyed gaining more knowledge and experience through Wag-N-Ride. Ashlyn is always so happy to see your fur babies. She is a great communicator, quick learner, and always happy to jump in and help. We have loved having her as part of the team.

"I started working with Wag-N-Ride back in March and have absolutely loved it!" Ramsey is a full-time college student at UAB, and has loved attending school there. She has 4 cats and a Pitbull pup that she adores and treats like family. Growing up her family had cats and dogs, so she grew up with a love for animals. Ramsey has also been a nanny for several families over the last year. She has been a great addition to the team. She is punctual, good at communication and has just overall been a joy to have on the team.

Pet Care Professional

Mary began her love for dogs at 7 years old when she received her first dog. Around 10 years old began pet sitting in her neighborhood, so families could enjoy their vacation. Now as an adult, she typically has 2 to 4 dogs in her pack. They are treated like family and are her fur babies. She worked at a local doggie daycare for 2 years prior to joining the Wag-N-Ride team. “I love and still miss all my doggie buddies. I am so happy Anna invited me to join the team. I so enjoy the one-on-one time I get with your pet. The best part of my day is walking in and seeing their happy faces and wiggling butts.” Mary loves every animal she comes into contact with and is very attentive to their care. We are so happy to have her as part of the team.
