Founder/Owner/Pet Care Professional

I opened Wag-N-Ride to give pet parents peace of mind when finding pet care for their loved ones. I operate on trust, honesty and integrity. I have 10+ years of experience in pet care, pet behavior and pet health. I worked in a vet clinic for 6 years and owned an in-home boarding business for 3 years. I specialize in dogs, but have taken care of cats, reptiles, fish and horses. I provide top notch care to Crestline, Mountain Brook, Homewood and Vestavia.

Pet Care Professional

I’ve loved all animals since I was a kid, but dogs are my passion. I took an interest in dog training after I watched several dogs get rehomed due to poor behavior. I’ve had my dog for 5 years and I trained him with basic commands. After a death of a friend in 2021, I took him through service dog training, and he is now a certified service dog. I met Anna at the vet clinic, and we worked together for about a year. I have experience and knowledge in pet care, health and behavior. I am so excited to be a part of the Wag-N-Ride team and I am looking forward to helping out with daily walks, pet sitting, and pet taxi!

Ashlyn is attending UAB to get a bachelors in Kinesiology, to then become a physical therapist. In the meantime, she has loved being able to walk dogs for Wag-N-Ride, and play with all the kitty cats. She has two cats of her own, and a family dog. She has pet sat for friends and family. Ashlyn has enjoyed gaining more knowledge and experience through Wag-N-Ride.
